Kirsten Gallagher is lifelong language lover. A native English speaker, she mastered French, Spanish and Italian, and now works as a language instructor and translator.
She has taught people of all ages to express themselves in a second language. She firmly believes that a second language can be learned at any age with a reasonable amount of effort and the right approach. As a non-native speaker of French, Spanish and Italian, she has accumulated a number of strategies over the years to help students speak more efficiently by making use of fewer words.
Her excellent writing skills enhance her ability as a translator. She holds an M. A. in Philosophy from Queen’s University, one of Canada’s most respected institutions, where she learned to think critically and write eloquently. Her translations are never word-for-word; they communicate the meaning of the text in the desired tone and style.
